While the LED display on the MOTU M4 is more pronounced and right in the front end of the device, the Komplete Audio 6 MK II has its own on top and is not as pronounced with five input meters (four inputs, one output) available on display in a dot-like pattern. They both have an LED display for monitoring, though it is different in both devices. The MOTU M4 is a 4X4 audio interface while the Komplete Audio 6 MK II is a 6 channel audio interface. However, they are both great and it is almost hard to say which is better or best of the two. Both devices are very close in comparison, even when it comes to price with one slightly edging out the other by a few hundred bucks. With the M4, MOTU delivers a device that is portable, well built, and of the highest quality, with the device even having some extra interesting features on offer over the Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6 MK II. Not only can it compete or stand in a comparison with the Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6 MK II, but it also stands with several other devices in the same category that are worth thousands of dollars and still do similar work. When it generally comes to devices in the industry, particularly interfaces, MOTU always has one or more products to consider in the same category and that is more like what the MOTU M4 offers. The MOTU M4 is another top-quality device that also comes under the same category of devices.
